All is quiet. The drain fixer guy is on the roof. Last night it had rained so hard that the wall paint in the dining room had balloons of water! They have shrunk back but there will be marks. Yesterday afternoon we had an earthquake. I will try to look it up and see how strong it was. You could hear it and feel it but nothing really big. The water in the bottles on the table were moving and you could see and feel it. It was at that point I realized that I was really in Peru! (oh my there is a bird in the kitchen! Hopping around on the gas stove - they like to fly in when the door gets left open.)
Yesterday afternoon E & R decided on a house just one gated community away from Shane and Kerry. It is very nice and will be great after they do a bit of child proofing. They will move on Wednesday.
Today is Sunday so we will be off to church in a couple of hours.
I am disappointed about my choice of camera to bring here. I have been told that it is not safe to carry much of any bag let alone a one with a nice camera in it. Patti has a pocket camera so I will be using hers. So hopefully I will have some time put some up here.
